How to Hit a Hybrid Golf Club
You are on the tee of a fairly long par 3 with water
covering most of the distance. It's one of the most daunting shots in
golf. You pull your 4 iron from the bag and take a practice swing or
two while envisioning a purely struck shot that lands softly on the
green. You take your stance and make your swing.....CLANK! The ball
doesn't even get close the green and you have contributed yet another
ball to the pond.
With this experience being fairly normal, why
haven't you picked up a hybrid iron club yet? Tell your ego to take a hike
and replace your 3 and 4 irons with shiny new hybrid golf clubs. The
pros are using them so it's time that you do to.
"Ok", you say,
and head on over to the local golf store and purchase a hybrid to
replace your dreaded 4 iron. You take it over to the course and are
having some troubles. Before you curse your way back to the golf store
to return your new club, there is something you need to know.
Hybrids
are not fairway woods. Do you remember why you bought one? Yes, to
replace your long irons. That's how they are meant to be played, like
long irons.
Play the ball just forward of center just like your
long irons. Swing down on the ball as you would your irons also. Don't
try to sweep the ball like you would a fairway wood. A smooth tempo
with a downward strike will send the ball high in the air and farther
than you have ever hit your long irons.
Once you experience a
perfectly struck hybrid a few times, you will be hooked and will never
look back. Remember your new hybrid is a long iron, just a new and
improved model.

forever and can honestly say I improved my game using the four magic
moves. Take a few minutes, go to http://www.fourmagicmoves.net and get your free info.

Invicta Pro Diver Watch Review
I have purchased several Invicta time pieces from Amazon over the past
few years. With the exception of my Invicta Pro-Diver Automatic, this
has to be the best made and appealing watch I have seen from Invicta.
The dial is large and meaty as shown in my photos. The numbers, hands
and 12 dot all glow in the dark. This watch was priced at an attractive
$49.99 with free 1 day shipping. I ordered it at 5:00pm on 11-10-08 and
received it at 2:00pm on the 11th. Not sure if this is an early black
friday deal from Amazon or a price typo; however, this watch is well
worth the $49.99. I received an email from Invicta. This is actually a
2009 model that is suppose to be released in March; however, Amazon has
it now. This is a very attractive price for this watch. Based on
Invicta's MSRP, the watch should actually be around $129.00, so the
$49.99 is a steal. Nice time piece for yourself and for a gift!!! This
was the email I received from Invicta:
Dear Valued Customer
This model is one of the next year models that are selling now.
But we will not have it in our website probably until March next year.
And when the watch is posted in our website it will say the same it
says on amazon, because that is the info that we gave to them. 14k gold watches

Odyssey Black Series
This blade putter, especially when combined with Callaway's Tour Ix balls, is
nothing short of spectacular. It feels like an extension of your arm to
the hole. Weighted nicely, solid feel, comfortable grip -- it just
feels right. The finish is great. Looks nice but is dull enough to fend
glare. The face to the soft ball is subtle but responsive -- you'll
really love the feel.
I'm ecstatic with my purchase and think you'll be happy too. And
you know what I think I like best? No gimmicky shapes and sizes, or
bulkiness at the end of the shaft. Just buy it.

Dunlop Pedal Review
The problem with this pedal is that you have to step all the way down
on it to turn it on, which produces a sound. The Morley pedals have a
separate on/off switch, so you can turn them on or off at a given
position. The difference is the sound is just a bit more professional
if the wah isn't always turning on or off at the top of the wah
frequency. Suppose you wanted to set the wah in the middle, and just
leave it there. You can't really do that with this pedal. It is a bit
smaller than a morley wah, but in my experience, the sound is
equivalent on the base models. Vintage guitar

Wii is fun but disappointed
I must say I am disappointed with my purchase, I couldn't find a Wii
for a MSRP so I bought a bundle ,with two alright but not special games
but to justify its price it was the only way I would fork out more than
250$ for it.
First the good points
-very family friendly :
my father never in my gaming years asked to try out a game except
for GT4 on the PS2 just because he wanted to try out the GT force with
the Wii he actually enjoyed it for the time he tried it.
-tracking :
It has a schedule or notes that shows what games were played at what time and for how long nice feature for concerned parents.
-huge library of games:
The Wii has a lot of titles to chose from it has something for everyone.
-motion sensing:
The motion sensing is what makes the Wii special, games like wario ware is why you bought the wii for.
-no HDTV required:
This will look good on a normal TV not supposed to be on HD.
For the bad points:
-no support for larger than 2 gig SD cards.
This is not really a huge unless you buy a lot of wiiware and
classics from the store I have yet to use up my Wii's space, but what
pisses me off the fact that it's not written in the owners I had to
find out the hard way by buying the card first good thing I have other
electronics that I can use the card in.
-Too much games:
I said the good thing it has a lot of games but only a small margin
are really worth playing most are a waste of money. And most good
titles are from Nintendo or you already have it on a pervious
generation console.
-weak online gaming:
If online gaming is one of the features you cherish you will be
hugely disappointed the online is so restricted that it is painful to
do so but it is good if you have kids and want to control there
playing.
-A LOT OF WIRES:
This thing is like a spider web wires and wires you could buy wireless equipment.
-No HD out of the box:
I had to buy a component cable so I can view a less annoying
version of it on my 46" tv the thing looks unbelievably terrible on a
HD TV max output is 480P but after spending time with the XBOX360 and
the PlayStation 3 , I can't dismiss this point even though they say
it's in a different market high definition is the new standard and
Nintendo faild in this one.
-Dust collector:
The is the kind of system that you are a happy with it in the first
few days or weeks but it losses its glamour after you spend some time
playing it. I just gets boring and frustrating with time I just stoped
playing it even though I was playing Mario paper but it just does not
have the feeling of the 360 and the ps3 of calling you to play.
-Motion sensing:
Some time when playing the motion sensing is just not accurate you
move and the thing just does not register any movement saying its
accurate is just miss leading
I have all three next generation systems and I like all three but
i find myself playing the Wii less than the other two i just feel that
its like the gamecube but with different look and added bigger discs
and motion sensing capability.
If you are looking for something simple and a quick way for having
fun and the whole family will enjoy the Wii is a good choice. But if
you are looking for a great visual feast, online gaming, quality games
and want to upgrade from the PS2 or the XBOX, the 360 and/or the PS3
are what you are looking for i just feel they offer more.
If you are looking for cheap nintendo wii sale find it here.

Getting Started on Electric Guitar
Are you searching for the best instructional DVD for electric guitar? This is it. I
bought a slew of instructional guitar DVDs in the past month - and I'm
writing this review so you don't have to! This one is clearly the best.
It covers rock, blues, country music, each with a detailed
breakdown of rhythm and solo. Keith Wyatt (a superb teacher) leads you
through every step of the way. His relaxed, intelligent manner and
clear presentation are head and shoulders above the other instructional
guitar DVDs. This DVD was professionally planned, rehearsed, and
performed... maybe because Fender put their name on it. A whole lot of
thought and time went into making this a top-notch foundational guitar
lesson. Many of the other DVDs were done by simply turning on a
camera on in front of a great guitarist (who may not have the ability
to articulate what he is thinking). This DVD could teach the others how
to teach. Everyone who buys an electric guitar should also buy this DVD. This DVD and a chord book are all you need to get started. I
am still in search of a good Jazz guitar DVD/book that will treat Jazz
on the level that this DVD taught rock, blues, and country: a basic set
of Jazz chords and a basic Jazz solo. After finding this DVD, I am
hoping that Fender and Keith Wyatt will continue this series with a
Jazz DVD. Bottom Line: Five Stars. Buy it. You won't be disappointed. P.S.
If you are getting two DVDs, the second best Instructional Guitar DVD
is "Learn To Play Rippin Lead Guitar with Paul Lidel."

Product Description
Getting Started on Electric Guitar offers a complete course for the
beginning electric guitarist. Step-by-step lessons incorporating clear,
easy-to-follow 3-D graphics and unique play-along tracks teach the
viewer the essential chords, scales and techniques used by electric
guitar players in every popular style, including rock, blues and
country. This DVD is separated into two major sections. Part
1 ¯ The First Step covers: tuning methods · string names · essential
chords and scales used by all players · musical reference section
(notes, rhythms, chords and scales) · practice tips · fretting-hand
technique · picking-hand technique · backing tracks for play-along · an
animated fretboard · plus much more. Part 2 ¯ Play Electric!
covers: right-hand technique · left-hand technique · rhythm parts
(muting, alternate picking, arpeggios) · soloing technique (string
bending, vibrato) · rock, blues & country styles · rhythm and solo
ideas for each style · backing tracks in each style for play-along ·
sounds (amplifiers and effects) · caring for your instrument · and tips
from the Fender Custom Shop. Special DVD features include:
bonus footage, including a tour of the Fender factory! Also: looping
capabilities · web site links specifically for beginning guitarists · a
multi-language feature so you can view the DVD in English, Spanish,
German, French or Japanese.

How to make your own electric guitar
Make Your Own Electric Guitar
This book represents a well-thought out, very complete guide for anyone
wishing to build their own guitar. Several introductory chapters guide
you through the steps of designing your own instrument and address
specific possible problem areas such as frets, truss rods, neck angle
& bridge height, saftey, proper tools, laying out hardware
positions, etc.The next three chapters give step-by-step
construction notes for three specific guitars. (A carved-top set neck
model, a flame-maple topped tele, and an 8-string bass featuring some
exotic woods) These three guitars were well choosen for this book:
between the three of them you get just about any characteristic you'd
want on an instrument. Final chapters deal with finish, set-up,
and asembling a guitar from components. Although the author is British,
Americans shouldn't have any trouble - measurments are given in inches
and metric, and the author has taken care to explain most British slang
terms in USA-friendly terms. The writing itself is very well done,
easily understood, and has enough humor to lighten the mood without
spoiling it. Out of several similar books I've seen/read, I would vote this one as best written and most complete.

Easy Folk Songs to Play on Guitar
Folk music is one of the easiest and most fun musical
styles for the beginner guitar player to get into. You can enjoy it
almost immediately and, through folk songs you can express your own
feelings and uplift the emotions of your audience. Folk music is
basically about daily life. Sometimes the songs are based on spirituals
like Michael Row The Boat Ashore, social change like If I Had A Hammer
or tales of love like Lemon Tree.
For the singer and guitar
player an important thing to remember about folk music is that it acts
as focal point for a number of people to get together and undergo an
uplifting of the emotions by taking part in group singing. We are all
familiar with the scenario of a family or school sports team helping to
pass the time on a road trip by singing 99 Bottles of Beer. Yankee
Doodle, Shoo Fly, This Old Man, She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain,
Three Blind Mice, Buffalo Gals, Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Hush, Little
Baby, Lazy Mary, Bingo, I've Been Working' on the Railroad, On Top of
Old Smokey, London Bridge, The Farmer in the Dell, The Crawdad Song,
The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Rock-A-Bye Baby, The Riddle Song, Oh! Susanna,
Mister Frog Went A-Courtin' and Frere Jacques are all simple folk songs
that are loved by everybody and can be easily played on the guitar.
Another
famous folk song is Banks Of The Ohio which is a gruesome ballad about
a young girl being murdered by a rejected suitor. There are many such
songs dealing with love gone wrong leading to murder. Greensleeves is
an English folk song with dubious subject matter. Dating from the
sixteenth century, many musicologists suggest that it is about a lady
of loose virtue. House Of The Rising Sun is a song about wasted life
but judging by its popularity it is responsible for bringing people
much happiness. Another easy folk song is Foggy Mountain Top which
contains all the elements of a great folk song - unrequited love, a
crime of passion and remorse for a wasted life.
To play these
easy folk songs you can simply use a plectrum to accompany your singing
by strumming chords. But there are easy fingerstyle guitar techniques
that you will find to be quite effective. The simplest is to play the
bass note of each chord followed by a down stroke with the first finger
across the third, second and first strings. A variation on this
technique is to pluck the treble strings instead of strumming them. In
practice, you will find yourself using a combination of these two
methods. From here, with a little help from some internet research, you
will find that you can expand your fingerstyle technique to using the
thumb, first, second and third fingers to pick melodic accompaniment to
your folk songs. A very popular and easy to play folk guitar style is
called Clawhammer. In this technique your thumb plays a regular pattern
while the fingers pluck a melody or accompaniment on the treble
strings. To find some tabs and videos featuring these methods of
playing folk songs, just try searching for "guitar finger picking".
For
more inspiration in your search for easy folk songs to play on the
guitar, try searching some famous folk artists on the internet. Some
good ones to start with are Burl Ives, The Weavers, Peter Paul And
Mary, Joan Baez, Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger.
Ricky
Sharples has been playing guitar his whole life, and is presently
engaged in building a blog which features free guitar lessons, videos,
articles and reviews to help you Learn The Guitar
for free. Ricky updates the blog constantly so if you are interested in
learning to play guitar there will be an enormous variety of tips,
tools and tutorials for you.
